Powertron Series 4000 Tap Box (4000A) offers quick connection to a mobile emergency generator, allowing you to receive temporary power quickly and safely.

• Freestanding pad-mount, 14 gauge galvanized steel, weather-tight, NEMA 3R outdoor enclosure.
• Lifting pockets (6.25"W x 4"H) for easy installation.

Top Cabinet

• 3/8" Thick Copper Bus Bar, seventeen 1/2" mounting holes, two 10-32" threaded holes (per bus bar).
• Two pre-lugged 4/0 grounding jumper cables.
• Standard key lock on door (Padlock option available - please call to order.)

Bottom Cabinet

• Industry standard power connections (cam-lock male receptacles).
• Four 10-32" mounting holes for 3-phase rotation monitoring relay.
• Weather shield to protect against inclement weather conditions while connected to a generator.
• Remote Start/Stop terminals allow for automatic operation when used with an Automatic Transfer Switch.
• GFI 20A receptacle allows power to be provided to a generator block heater and battery charger for cold weather operation.
• Raised cabinet door for easy access during heavy rain or snow.
• Standard key lock on cabinet door and cable door (Padlock option available - please call to order).
