EF1000iS
|
The Yamaha EF1000iS inverter generator is the ultimate in
lightweight portable electricity that is quiet, durable and
convenient. Designed to supply high-quality and clean power,
the EF1000iS was built to be quiet and durable. Designed with
an all-new ergonomic style and fitted with a compact alternator
and inverter unit, the EF1000iS weighs in at a class-leading
27lbs, making it extremely portable. Noise Block, acoustically
designed sound reduction system helps to make the EF1000iS
the quietest portable generator in its class. The EF1000iS…
lightweight, powerful, clean and quiet. A powerhouse performer
at your fingertips.
CLEAN
OUTPUT
The EF1000iS - with its inverter system - features Pulse Width
Modulation (PWM) so Voltage stability is within ± 1%,
and Frequency stability is ± 0.1 HZ. Its pure sine
wave is as clean or cleaner than commercial power, improving
the efficiency and versatility of your electronic equipment
and accessories compared to other portable power.

EF2400is
NEW! |
The combination of the world's first aluminum die-cast frame
on a portable generator, an aluminum TCI rotor and other weight-saving
measures have produced a powerful and compact generator that
weighs only 70 pounds. Using the engine from our larger models
achieves the highest output level in the class—enough
juice to power up most 13,500 BTU air conditioners.
Using
that powerful engine also means it can run at lower rpm; Smart
Throttle™ automatically adjusts engine speed to match
the load. The result is quiet running, maximum fuel efficiency,
and a run time of over 8.5 hours at 1/4 capacity load. The
aluminum flywheel allows the engine to respond quicker to
changing loads. Special, Field Effect Transistors in the electronic
controller respond more quickly for greater big-appliance
starting capacity, and a cast iron cylinder liner means increaed
reliability and superior heat dissipation for longer engine
life.
Clean
power is key. The EF2400iS uses Pulse Width Modulation (PWM)
to produce high-quality electricity on the same level as that
supplied by public utility companies. That means you can use
this generator with confidence as a power source for microcomputer-controlled
power tools and appliances with built-in computer functions. |

LESS
NOISE
Generators can be loud and annoying — and that can be
a problem whether you're providing backup power at home, camping
in the wilderness, or working on the job site. With the EF2800i,
Yamaha has created one of the most quiet generators in its
class. The engineers looked at the total design and then made
changes where they would be most effective — i.e., engine
operating speed, intake noise, exhaust noise, and valvetrain
noise. The most important addition is something we call "Economy
Control." Here's how it works: Typically, after starting
a generator — as it's generating power — the generator
operates at a constant rpm to produce peak power. This is
usually the loudest noise level. With "Economy Control,"
the engine speed automatically changes to match power demand.
Therefore, if you're powering only some small appliance or
lights, the generator runs at a low engine rpm. Then, as power
demand increases, the engine revs up accordingly.
LIGHTWEIGHT
It's not uncommon to have generators weighing over 120 lbs.
And weight usually corresponds to power output. That is, until
Yamaha created the EF2800i. Tipping the scales at just 64
lbs., it's the lightest generator in its class. The key is
its multipole rotor with a small stator and Pulse Width Modulation
inverter. This design is smaller and lighter than a conventional
two-pole alternator and large stator — and it makes
the EF2800i extremely portable.
CLEAN
OUTPUT
Most generators can't power anything with microcomputers or
sophisticated electronics — their generated power has
too many spikes and irregular wavelengths that can destroy
sensitive equipment. The EF2800i — with its inverter
system — features Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) so wavelength
distortion is less than 2.5 percent — it's ideal for
equipment that requires stable frequency and voltage.

EF3000iSE
|
Strengthening
the core of our inverter lineup are the Yamaha EF3000iSE and
the EF3000iSEB, two of the most revolutionary inverter models
available today. Ever need a little boost - extra power that
gets your tool or air conditioner started quickly and efficiently?
Well, now you can get that "boost" thanks to the
EF3000iSEB generator from Yamaha. The “B” on EF3000iSEB
means it features Yamaha Boost Technology™, which provides
additional power when you need it. Perfect for the RV enthusiast,
the iSEB is an ideal source of power for either a fifth-wheel
or travel trailer system. The Boost Control Unit in the generator
automatically senses when additional boost is needed and it
uses power from the internal 12-volt battery to produce additional
amperage. In fact, the additional amps boost the alternator's
3000-watt output for up to 10 seconds, increasing the output
so it's comparable to a conventional 3500-watt generator.
Supplying that extra boost for 10 seconds is ample time to
power equipment that may need that extra kick to start quickly
and efficiently, such as a 13,500 btu air-conditioner or other
trailer appliances. However, if you find yourself not needing
that little extra kick, you can take advantage of the Yamaha
EF3000iSE, which includes all the features of the EF3000iSEB
but without our Boost Technology feature. Both the iSE and
the iSEB include Yamaha's performance enhancing features,
such as Inverter Technology, Smart Throttle and Noise Block.
So both are capable of producing clean, high-quality electricity
with extremely quiet operation (quietest in the industry).
Both units also feature a fresh, new ergonomic design with
easy control access, effortless electric starting and built-in
wheels so they're remarkably portable - providing convenient
power to the locations you need it most, whether around the
home or at a campsite. The EF3000iSE and EF3000iSEB - generators
on the leading edge of technology.

EF4500iS
|
The all-new EF4500iSE picks up where our extremely successful EF3000iSEB leaves off, with even more power and fuel efficiency in a quiet, portable package. The EF4500iSE is designed for maximum fuel efficiency and minimum noise, qualities which make it the ultimate RV accessory. The most powerful engine in its class allows our biggest inverter to run at the very low engine speed of just 2600 rpm—1000 rpm lower than other generators in its class, and that slow engine speed pays off in reduced fuel consumption as well as less noise, vibration and engine wear. Naturally, it’s got all the features you expect from Yamaha including an optional wireless remote control.
