It's not uncommon to have generators weighing over 120 lbs.
And weight usually corresponds to power output. Moving a generator
around a job site can be challenging. It might take 2 or 3
people or a back hoe to move a generator from place to place
on a job site. That is, until Yamaha created the YG2800i.
Tipping the scales at just 66 lbs., it's the lightest generator
in its class. The key is its sixteen-pole rotor with twenty-four
coil stator and Pulse Width Modulation inverter. This design
is smaller and lighter than a conventional two-pole alternator
and large stator - and it makes the YG2800i extremely portable
around a job site or just about anywhere.

Generators can be loud and annoying - and that can be a problem
whether you're at home, camping, or working on an already
noisy job site. With the YG2800i, Yamaha has created the quietest
generator in its class. Yamaha engineers looked at the total
design and then made changes where they would be most effective
— i.e., engine operating speed, intake noise, exhaust
noise, and valvetrain noise. The most important addition is
the "Economy Control" function. Here's how it works:
Typically, a generator runs at 3600 rpm to produce 60HZ. With
Yamaha's "Economy Control," the YG2800i engine speed
automatically adjusts to precisely match power demand. Therefore,
if you're powering only some small appliance, like a radio,
drill, saw or lights, the generator runs at a low engine speed.
Then, as power demand increases, the engine speed increases
accordingly.

Most generators can't power anything with microcomputers or
sophisticated electronics - their generated power has too
many spikes and irregular wavelengths that can destroy sensitive
equipment. The YG2800i sine wave is equal to or superior to
commercial power. The YG2800i produces a full width sine wave,
not a clipped or modified sine wave like other inverters on
the market. Voltage stability is within ± 1%, and Frequency
stability is ± 0.1 HZ. It's ideal for equipment and
tools that requires stable frequency and voltage. |

You
know the dilemma — you really want a dual-voltage generator,
but you can't justify paying the premium price. Well, now
you don't have to sacrifice the convenience of running both
120 and 240 volts — the solution is the new Yamaha YG4000D
generator. It delivers everything you want in a generator
— high power output and quiet operation, all in a compact
package. That makes the YG4000D perfect to use on the job
site — it can power a wide range of tools. For example,
it's got plenty of power to run two worm drive saws and a
three-quarter-inch drill — all at the same time. And
like all Yamaha generators, the YG4000D is fuel-efficient
and very reliable. |

Buying
a generator can be challenging - some offer too much power...
others, not enough. That's why Yamaha created the YG5200D.
It's a hard-working design — Yamaha's latest in the
5kvA class — that's the ideal step up from the YG4000D.
It offers the proven performance of Yamaha's 301cc overhead
valve engine and delivers both 120 and 240 volts. It's capable
of powering a medium size air compressor, two worm drive saws,
and more. It comes standard with Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter
(G.F.C.I.). Best of all, the YG5200D is quiet with an extra-large
muffler and efficient engine design. So when it's time for
a new generator, get the one that's "just right"
- the YG5200D, it's perfect on the job. |

When
your client needs more power — when running, say, a
large air compressor or three worm drive saws — then
the YG6600D is the logical choice. This generator delivers
full-time dual 120/240-volt operation with a potent 357cc
OHV 4-stroke engine. It generates 6,600 watts maximum AC output
and 18,000 watts of surge output. Your clients will also like
it because it delivers outstanding fuel efficiency and can
supply power for 8.3 hours of continuous operation without
refueling (at half rated load). It even features a dynamic
crankshaft balancer to reduce vibrations and improve durability. |

YG6600DE
|
The
YG6600DE is the best-selling generator in Yamaha's Industrial/Contractor
lineup. The top-of-the-industrial-line YG6600DE delivers the
same performance of the YG6600D and adds the convenience of
electric starting, automatic choke, and remote starting capabilities.
This ultra-dependable, dual 120/240-volt AC output generator
delivers 6600 maximum watts of power and 18,000 watts of surge
capacity. Its 357cc OHV 4-stroke engine provides 8.3 hours
of continuous operation without refueling. |
